KSrelief clinics provide treatment services in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH — The Emergency Nutritional Medical Clinics of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continued providing treatment services in Hodeidah Governorate, Yemen, during last month.

The total number of the beneficiaries from Nov. 1 to 30, 2020, was 21,682 patients, with various medical conditions, in different clinics and departments. The laboratory department also received 13,450 patients and the clinics provided 19,088 patients with medications.

Drive for open heart surgeries,

catheterizations in Al-Mukalla

In Al-Mukalla, KSrelief launched on Saturday a volunteer medical campaign for open heart surgeries and catheterizations for adults in Al-Mukalla, Hadhramaut Governorate, Yemen, with participation of a number of cardiologists from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

On the first day of the campaign, the medical team performed 23 catheterizations and 5 open-heart surgeries without complications.

This campaign comes within the framework of support being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through the Center, for the medical sector in Yemen.

Water supply & environmental

sanitation project in Hajjah

In Hajjah, Yemen, the KSrelief continued during the last month implementing the water supply and environmental sanitation project in Hajjah Governorate, Yemen.

During Nov. 1-30, 2020, 4,820,000 liters of non-drinking water and 1,984,000 liters of drinking water were pumped into the tanks, benefiting 6,320 individuals.

KSrelief distributes 2,500

dates cartons in Shabwah

In Shabwah, KSrelief distributed here Saturday 2,500 cartons of dates to the most needy and displaced people in Shabwah Governorate, Yemen, benefiting 2,500 families.

This comes within the framework of the humanitarian and relief aid, provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, to the Yemeni people.

KSrelief distributes 531 winter

bags in Swat District, Pakistan

In Islamabad, KSrelief distributed 531 winter bags in Swat District, Pakistan, benefiting 3,186 people. This comes within the framework of the project to distribute winter clothing to the needy people in Pakistan.

KSrelief supervisor general

meets Bangladesh's envoy

The Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of KSrelief Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah met in Riyadh on Sunday with the Ambassador of Bangladesh to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dr. Mohammad Javed Patwary.

During the meeting, they discussed issues related to relief and humanitarian affairs between Saudi Arabia and Bangladesh.

Ambassador Dr. Patwary expressed his appreciation for the Center's distinguished humanitarian roles, praising the relief and humanitarian aid being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through the KSrelief, for needy people and refugees. — SPA
