MUSCAT — Minister of Sports Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al-Faisal arrived here Sunday to lead the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation to the meetings of the 39th General Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA).

The OCA members will vote Wednesday to select the host city of the 2030 Asian Games. Prince Abdulaziz will also attend a meeting of the OCA Executive Office.

At Muscat International Airport, the Minister of Sports was received by Chairman of the Omani Olympic Committee Khalid Bin Hamad Al Busaidi; Prince Fahd Bin Jalawi Bin Abdulaziz Bin Musaed, vice president of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, and Saudi Ambassador to Oman Eid Bin Mohammed Al-Thaqafi.

Prince Abdulaziz Al-Faisal affirmed that the Riyadh 2030 bid is fully prepared to host the 2030 Asian Games due to the development projects and infrastructure in Riyadh.

He also pointed out the great and unlimited support from the wise government to overcame all difficulties and open all doors for the Riyadh 2030 bid's team.

He thanked Oman for a warm hospitality and good reception, lauding the solid relations binding the two brotherly countries. — SPA
