Abu Dhabi’s crown prince holds talks with top US military official

ABU DHABI — Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is also the deputy supreme commander of the UAE armed forces, met here on Friday with Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral cooperation and the level of joint coordination in the fields of defense and military affairs.

The top US military official, who is on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates as part of his regional tour, held talks on Thursday with the UAE Minister of State for Defense Affairs Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi.

Al Bowardi and Gen.Mark Milley discussed cooperation and joint work between the UAE and the US in the defense and military affairs.

The two sides also reviewed a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest. — Agencies
