Saudi Gazette report

RIYADH — More than 500,000 people have so far registered to receive the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccine through the Sehaty app, the Ministry of Health said on Wednesday.

The exact number of those who have sought to be inoculated since the launch of the registration last Tuesday is 500,178, according to the ministry.

The ministry urged all — citizens and residents — to register themselves for taking the COVID-19 vaccine in order to preserve their health and safety and protect themselves from being infected by the virus.

The ministry once again confirmed the safety and efficacy of the vaccine and the occurrence of a strong immune response and continuous antibodies.

The ministry also announced that the vaccination will be carried out in three stages, and each stage has target groups.
