Egyptian expat dies after being shot by a teenager

RIYADH — A 35-year-old Egyptian national was killed in a shooting incident in one of the governorates of the Riyadh region. A 14-year-old juvenile was the perpetrator of the attack, according to an official source at the Public Prosecution.

The source said that the perpetrator has admitted to committing the crime. The Public Prosecution has begun an investigation into the shooting incident and is completing the procedures before referring the case to the concerned court. The teenager was interrogated according to the rules and regulations stipulated in the Criminal Procedure Law and the Juvenile Law, the source added.
