KSRelief hands out food baskets, dates to the needy in Yemen

JEDDAH — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed on Thursday 53 tons and 500 kilograms of food baskets to the needy families in the Yemeni governorate of Hadramout, benefiting 3,000 individuals.

The center handed out Thursday 100 tons and 450 kilograms of food baskets to the displaced in the Aden governorate, benefiting 5,610 individuals.

It distributed 2,500 cartons of dates to displaced and affected families in the Marib governorate, benefiting 2,500 families.

KSrelief also gave 755 tons of food baskets to the displaced and affected people in the Hajjah governorate, benefiting 19,000 individuals.

The aid is part of the humanitarian and relief projects being carried out by KSrelief, the charity arm of Saudi Arabia, for the Yemeni people in order to alleviate their suffering during the current humanitarian crisis.
