DOHA — The Council of Ministers in Qatar welcomed on Wednesday the outcomes of the Gulf Cooperation Council, which was held on Tuesday in AlUla, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The Qatari Cabinet affirmed that AlUla Summit has marked a new stage in the march of joint Gulf action, its solidarity, mutual understanding, trust, and respect, as well as institutional work to achieve the objectives of the council and to meet the aspirations of its people.
The Qatari Cabinet expressed its deep appreciation for the fruitful efforts made by the late Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and completed by the incumbent Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for the unity and cohesion of the Gulf ranks, as well as the efforts of the United States. — SG
