Space Commission, UA sign deal on space-related projects

RIYADH — The Saudi Space Commission has virtually signed Wednesday an executive program with the US University of Arizona to exchange students, university staff, administrative personnel, and researchers interested in space.

The agreement was signed by the Director for International Relations Abdulaziz Al-Ghurayeb of the Saudi side and Brent White, Vice Provost for Global Affairs and Dean of Global Locations of the UA, on behalf of his organization.

According to the deal the program encourages enrolling Saudi students to high-level space-related studies, short-summer programs in the field of space sciences and engineering, and creating research opportunities among Saudi students and their counterparts in the UA. — SPA
