WHO lauds Healthy Cities' Program implemented by Taibah University

MADINAH — The World Health Organization (WHO) praised the healthy cities program that was implemented by Taibah University, in Madinah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, after accreditation of Madinah as a healthy city.

Under the supervision of the Governorate of Madinah Region and the participation of a number of ministries, authorities and directorates, as well as several sectors in Madinah, the accreditation was given the green light.

The WHO team affirmed that the Madinah team has achieved all criteria, in an innovative way, with the presence of certain initiatives that can be replicated, in other cities inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and abroad. — SPA
