Saudi Arabia, Bulgaria seek to boost ties in tourism sector

RIYADH —
Minister of Tourism Ahmed Al-Khateeb met here on Thursday with his Bulgarian counterpart Mariyana Nikolova, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Nikolova, who is also Bulgaria's deputy prime minister for economic and demographic policy, is currently on a two-day official visit to Saudi Arabia.

The meeting came within the framework of joint cooperation between the Kingdom and Bulgaria.

The meeting dealt with ways to strengthen relations between the two countries in the tourism fields.

During her visit, the Bulgarian minister toured a number of tourist destinations across the Kingdom, including Salwa Palace in Al-Dir'iyah and Mada'in Saleh in AlUla.
