RIYADH — The Arab Coalition forces have intercepted and destroyed on Saturday a bomb-laden drone in Yemeni airspace launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militias, targeting Saudi Arabia, the Coalition’s spokesperson Brig. Gen. Turki Al-Maliki said.

In a statement on Saturday carried by the Saudi Press Agency, Brig. Gen. Al-Maliki said: “The Joint Coalition forces intercepted and destroyed this evening (Saturday) a bomb-laden UAV in Yemeni airspace, which was launched by the terrorist, Iran-backed Houthi militia toward the Kingdom to deliberately and systematically target civilians and civilian objects.” — SPA
