RAMALLAH — The Palestinian presidency has praised Saudi Arabia’s stance under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman in support of the just and legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.

The spokesman for the Palestinian presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, said in a statement on Wednesday that the position taken by Saudi Arabia in global forums, especially in the UN Security Council, is an affirmation of its adherence to the Arab Peace Initiative and its commitment to peace as a strategic option to achieve the principle of the two-state solution.

In a similar statement, the Palestinian foreign ministry welcomed the Saudi stance in support of the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people.
