New coronavirus cases in KSA remain above 350 mark as recoveries top 300

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health recorded 369 new coronavirus cases over the past 24 hours as the single-day infections surpassed the 350-mark for the third consecutive day.

The ministry also announced five more deaths caused by complications caused by COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

This brings the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 371,356 and fatalities to 6,415 respectively.

The ministry also reported 306 new recoveries over the past 24 hours, raising the total number of people free from the deadly virus to 362,368.

The Riyadh region recorded the highest number of infections with 173 cases, followed by the Eastern region with 85 and the Makkah region with 48 new infections.

The remaining cases were detected in different other regions of the Kingdom.

With the continued increase in the number of new cases, the active cases in Saudi Arabia rose to 2,573 out of which 417 were critical.
