Saudi Electricity Company gets 3 top certificates of excellence

RIYADH — Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) has obtained three “ Recognized for Excellence” certificates at once in institutional excellence from the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM).

The SEC's industrial security sector received the "Recognized for Excellence" certificate, making Saudi Electricity the first company in the Middle East to obtain this certificate in this sector, and the company's distribution and customer services — southern sector and human resources development sector received the same certificate.

The Director of Institutional Excellence Department in the SEC Moayad Al-Sabr said that the company has been applying, institutional excellence since 2013 in order to enhance its capabilities toward continuity and leadership in providing electrical services with high reliability, and the company’s efforts were crowned by obtaining the "Recognized for Excellence 3 Stars Certificate" in the three sectors.

He emphasized that the Saudi Electricity Company aims to enhance its competitive position, move to an advanced stage of quality applications, link and harmonize quality programs and performance development projects with the current and future policies and strategies of the company.
