WASHINGTON — The US Department of Defense has condemned the continued Houthi attacks against Saudi Arabia, reiterating Washington's commitment to helping the Kingdom defend itself, the Pentagon's Press Secretary, John Kirby, said on Wednesday.

Speaking at a press briefing, Kirby said that Houthi attacks against Saudi Arabia “violate international law and undermine efforts to grow peace and stability in the region.”

“We condemn attacks against Saudi Arabia and as the president himself has made clear, we remain committed to helping Saudi Arabia defend itself,” the press secretary added.

“We are going to continue to work together and to look for better ways to defend the Kingdom from these external threats while revitalizing diplomacy in the Yemen conflict,” Kirby said.
