Saudi Gazette report

RIYADH — The Saudi Customs issued on Monday a clarification, rejecting rumors circulating in a section of the social media with regard to the regulations of importing vehicles by individuals.

The Customs stated that the regulations stipulate that the Saudi and Gulf citizens have the right to import two vehicles in a year.

However, expatriates are entitled to import only one vehicle in the private category every three years.

The Customs sources urged all members of the society to be accurate while circulating news and should depend on reliable and official sources to verify the authenticity before spreading any information.
