RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s allies have strongly condemned the missile attack launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militia targeting the Jazan region of the Kingdom.
The Gulf ally, Bahrain, strongly condemned and denounced the missile attack by the Houthi militia on the southwestern Saudi Arabia, which injured several civilians and caused damage.
Bahrain’s foreign ministry wished a speedy and full recovery to the victims of the cowardly terrorist act that targets the lives of innocent civilians.
The ministry reiterated Bahrain's firm position that strongly supports Saudi Arabia and backs all the measures it takes to preserves its security, stability and solidarity.
Another key Gulf ally, the United Arab Emirates also strongly denounced the attack.
The foreign ministry also affirmed that the security of the UAE and that of Saudi Arabia are indivisible, and any threat facing the Kingdom is a threat to the security and stability of the UAE.
The statement said the continuation of these attacks demonstrates the danger the Houthi coup poses to the region and further illustrates the militia's aim to undermine regional security and stability.
Meanwhile, the Egyptian foreign ministry in a statement affirmed the country’s full and continuous support for measures taken by Saudi Arabia to protect and maintain its security and stability and to ensure the safety of its citizens and residents in facing these cowardly terrorist attacks that undermine peace and security in the region and violate the rules of the international humanitarian law, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
The spokesman of the Jordanian foreign ministry, Dhaifallah Al-Fayez, affirmed Jordan's strong condemnation and denunciation of these cowardly terrorist attacks and targeting of innocent civilians, which is a flagrant violation of the international humanitarian law.
Ambassador Al-Fayez stressed Jordan's support and solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to preserve its security, stability and the safety of its citizens and residents, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
In a statement, Pakistan's foreign ministry said: "These attacks not only violate the territorial integrity of the Kingdom but also threaten the lives of innocent people. Pakistan calls for their immediate cessation, as it stands in solidarity with Saudi Arabia".
"Pakistan also calls on Houthi militia to halt its attacks on Ma’arib governorate in Yemen. We reiterate our call for a comprehensive political solution to the conflict in Yemen through peaceful means.", the statement concluded.
The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen has strongly condemned the terrorist Houthi militia's latest attack against Saudi Arabia.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Dr. Al-Othaimeen affirmed the OIC's support and solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all measures it takes to preserve its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
The Arab parliament in a statement called on the international community to act quickly and decisively to stop the repeated acts carried out by the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi terrorist militia, indicating that hesitancy of the international community in shouldering its responsibilities towards such practices, encourage the Houthi terrorist militia to continue its terrorist acts.
It also reiterated, in the statement, full solidarity and backing up the Kingdom's efforts and all measures it may take that would maintain its security, stability, and its territorial integrity, as well as the safety of its citizens and expatriates on its land.
