Saudi human rights chief holds virtual meeting with British PM's special envoy

RIYADH — President of Saudi Arabia’s Human Rights Commission Awwad Al-Awwad held a virtual meeting on Thursday with Lord Ahmad of Wimbledon, British PM’s special representative on preventing sexual violence in conflict.

During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of common interest between the two countries, particularly those related to human rights.

Al-Awwad in his talks with Lord Ahmad highlighted the great reforms implemented by Saudi Arabia in the fields of human rights and woman empowerment with the support of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and a direct and continuous follow-up of Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman.
