Saudi Gazette report

RIYADH — The Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday the extension of working hours around the clock in three health centers in the Riyadh city to administer the coronavirus vaccination.

The ministry said that additional appointments would be made available at these centers so as to give vaccination for more people after extending their operations to 24 hours.

The vaccination centers are Al-Nadwa Health Center, Al-Masyaf Center, and Al-Jazeera Center.

The ministry urged the people in the capital city to come forward to register their name on Sehhaty application to receive the vaccination shots.

It is noteworthy that nearly half of the daily cases of coronavirus infections in the Kingdom are being reported from the Riyadh region over the last few days.

Out of the total 390 daily cases reported on March 9, the Riyadh region continued to record the highest number with 192 cases.

Inspection teams from various government agencies have intensified their monitoring raids in the wake of a spike in the pandemic cases in the central region.
