RIYADH — President of Saudi Arabia’s Human Rights Commission (HRC) Awwad Al-Awwad discussed a number of issues relating to human rights with the Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor at the US Department of State Christopher Le Mon, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

During the meeting, which was held through video conference, Al-Awwad reviewed the major reforms implemented by the Kingdom in the field of human rights and the empowerment of women, citing the support of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and direct and continuous follow-up by Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman.
