'Iran's subversive project aims to disturb Yemen and region's security and stability'

ADEN — Yemeni Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh said that the continued terrorist acts perpetrated by the Houthi militia against Yemeni people and its attacks on civilian facilities in Saudi Arabia prove that it is nothing but a subversive tool in the hands of Iran.

In a phone call with Commander of the 5th Military Region in Yemen Maj. Gen. Yahya Salah, the Yemeni vice president added that the Iranian subversive project aims at disturbing security and stability in Yemen and the region. He thanked Saudi Arabia for its support to the Yemeni army in confronting the Iranian project.

According to the official Yemeni news agency, the commander of the Fifth Military Region briefed the vice president on the progress of the military operations and the progress made by the army in the operation that he launched on Friday in Hajjah governorate.

Maj. Gen. Salah confirmed that the forces of the Fifth Military Region have made some gains during the past few hours following the start of the operation. — SPA
