RIYADH — The Council of Saudi Chambers, the US Department of Commerce, and other relevant governmental bodies in Saudi Arabia virtually organized on Tuesday the Saudi-American infrastructure summit in which a number of companies from the two friendly countries participated.
The president of the Council of Saudi Chambers Ajlan Bin Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan, the undersecretary of the Ministry of Investment Eng. Mohammed Al-Wakeel, US top officials, including the US Chargé d'affaires Martina Strong, US Acting Deputy Under Secretary for International Trade, representatives of the Communications and Information Technology, and the Public Investment Fund took part in the event.
The participants focused on the current and future Saudi infrastructure's projects as well as commercial and investment opportunities, at avail, for more than 200 participants from the US private sector, in addition to the Saudi private sector companies, including US companies' leaders, in the domains of industries, such as waste management, ITC technologies, recreation, travel and tourism, transport and movement. — SG
