MADINAH — Taibah University in Madinah is scheduled on April 5, 2021 to organize the “Excellence in Education and Learning for People with Disability: Vision and System” Forum with the participation of academia and educationalists representing several academic institutions and sectors concerned with people with disability.
The three-day forum aims at contributing to the development of the educational and learning system of people with disability in a way that guarantees the quality of its outcomes through identifying and addressing top challenges facing the educational process of students with disability.
The forum also aims to enhance the concept of e-education for people with disability as a strategic goal in general and university education, and highlighting the role of the educational system in supporting the education of people with disability.
The sessions of the forum will review modern educational efforts related to techniques that can assist people with disability, as well as initiatives and efforts presented by various sectors in the field of teaching and training people with disability to activate the integrative and cooperative role.
The forum also provides researchers and educationalists specialized in special education and assistive techniques the opportunity to exchange expertise and research papers on e-education for people with disability and identify the best practices to guarantee the quality of education and learning of people with disability.
The aspects of the forum will also go over quality assurance of the education and learning of people with disability; means to support the educational and learning system of people with disability; integration between educational institutions of people with disability and civil society institutions that support people with disability.
The forum targets various educational institutions and commissions, educationalists, and centers and associations that offer their services to people with disability and their families. — SPA
