Al-Sudais inspects coronavirus precautionary measures in Prophet's Mosque

MADINAH — Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, head of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, inspected on Wednesday the implementation of precautionary measures and preventive against coronavirus and health arrangements at the Prophet's Holy Mosque.

He praised efforts being exerted to preserve the security and safety of visitors of the Prophet's Holy Mosque and services offered to them.

Al-Sudais, during a field tour, was briefed on technologies of the artificial intelligence device, the smart robot, which is used to disinfect and sterilize the Prophet's Holy Mosque.

The smart robot adopts the dry steam-ejection feature with multiple abilities without the use of any chemicals and without affecting humans, and has the world’s highest technology in fighting viruses and microbes that can be found on surfaces and carpets. — SG
