March 21, 2021

RIYADH — The Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) will participate the Virtual Future Projects Forum (FPF) 2021, which will be launched tomorrow under the patronage of Prince Faisal Bin Bandar, governor of Riyadh Region, and with the participation of many government and private entities.

The Royal Commission will showcase its future projects in the cities affiliated with RCJY including Jubail, Yanbu, Ras Al Khair Industrial City, and Jazan City for Basic and Manufacturing Industries. The projects will cover the fields of infrastructure, housing, health care, public facilities, security and safety.

The FPF is one of largest platforms in the Middle East to showcase future projects. It aims to bring together project owners from government and private agencies with contractors and interested parties in one place to explore investment opportunities in the contracting sector and the mechanism of qualification and competition for them.

It also aims to develop a wide network of relationships between contractors, investors and interested parties, in addition to creating partnerships between them.

The contracting sector in Saudi Arabia is the second largest non-oil sector and supports the realization of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

Moreover, the contracting market in Saudi Arabia is considered to be the largest in the Middle East, where international reports indicate that the volume of new projects in the sector exceeds 5,000 projects with a value of up to SR6 trillion, according to the FPF website. — SPA
