RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Public Transport Authority has stipulated that all workers and drivers in public transport services, including trains and buses, must be immunized with taking vaccine shots against coronavirus effective from May 13 (Shawwal 1).
In the event of non-compliance with this directive, a PCR test result showing non-infection of coronavirus is required to submit every seven days at the expense of the establishment where they are working.
The authority directed all operators and carriers of public transport to initiate vaccination of their employees well before the date of mandatory enforcement of the directive.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health stated that coronavirus vaccine centers are available in all regions of the Kingdom, and that it continues to receive citizens and expatriates to obtain the vaccine, and those registered on the Sehhaty application will be administered with the vaccine in accordance with their scheduled dates of appointments.
