Al-Sudais inspects advanced sound systems at Grand Mosque

MAKKAH — Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, head of the Presidency for the Affairs of Two Holy Mosques, took a field tour Tuesday to the Grand Mosque’s call to prayer place, in preparation for the blessed month of Ramadan.

Dr. Al-Sudais inspected advanced sound systems and their control devices, in addition to audio-visual broadcast systems for the transmission of the call to prayer and prayer. He also reviewed preparations for Ramadan 1442 AH, calling for harnessing latest technical means.

Dr. Al-Sudais also met during his tour with a number of Umrah performers who praised the services being provided by the Presidency. He stressed that the Presidency provides all services in accordance with precautionary measures to ensure visitors and Umrah performers' health and safety.

Dr. Al-Sudais also inspected the King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz project for Zamzam Water. During the field visit, Dr. Al-Sudais affirmed the importance of implementing the strategic plan to reopen the project and receive visitors via applying the highest precautionary measures to confront the COVID-19 pandemic in order to maintain the safety of the project's visitors. — SPA
