RIYADH —
Staff of recruitment companies in Saudi Arabia must be vaccinated, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development said on Thursday.

The regulation, which will come into effect on May 13, applies to all recruitment offices and companies that recruit domestic workers.

In a circular sent to all recruitment offices and firms, the ministry added that those who fail to get vaccinated before the deadline must provide a weekly negative PCR test result at the expense of the employer.

The move reflects the Kingdom's concern for the health and safety of citizens and residents and comes in light of the developments of the pandemic locally and regionally.
