King Abdulaziz University organizes forum on future of e-learning

JEDDAH — King Abdulaziz University, represented by Deanship of e-Learning and Distance Education (DDL), virtually organized yesterday the “e-Learning Future: Vision and Roadmap” Forum, under the patronage of Deputy Minister of Education for Universities, Research and Innovation Dr. Mohammad Bin Ahmad Al-Sudairi.

President of King Abdulaziz University Dr. Abdulrahman Bin Obaid Al-Youbi said that the forum was the result of joint efforts between educational institutions, under the leadership of the Ministry of Education, through which educational sectors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia managed to overcome the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

On her part, Dr. Lamya Ba Harith, Deputy Dean of DDL, said that participants in the forum discussed latest developments in applying the practices of e-learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, including ways to improve educational processes, learning during the pandemic and methods of crisis planning, in addition to technology-enhanced learning tools, digital transformation and sharing innovative applications and experiments in teaching and learning. — SPA
