Arab Coalition destroys 2 armed Houthi drones targeting Khamis Mushait

RIYADH — The Arab Coalition on Thursday intercepted and destroyed two armed drones launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia targeting Saudi Arabia’s city of Khamis Mushayt, Al-Ekhbariya TV reported.

In a statement, the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen said that the Houthi militia is continuing to target civilians and civilian facilities.

The coalition forces are taking the necessary measures to protect civilians and civilian facilities in accordance with the customary international humanitarian law, the statement added. — SG
