SAKAKA — US Charge d'affaires to Saudi Arabia Martina Strong paid a visit to the Al-Jouf region on Tuesday. She and the accompanying delegation were received by the Mayor of Al-Jouf, Atif Bin Mohammed Al-Sharaan.

During the visit, Al-Sharaan briefed the US Charge d'Affaires on the "Al-Jouf is a green oasis" initiative, which was launched by the Governor of Al-Jouf region Prince Faisal Bin Nawaf. As part of the initiative, 1 million trees are expected to be planted across the region within 10 years.
