Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Iftar program launched in Indonesia

JAKARTA — Saudi Ambassador to Indonesia Essam Bin Abed Al-Thaqafi inaugurated on Thursday the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Iftar program and dates distribution program at Saudi Arabia’s Embassy in Jakarta.

The Iftar and dates distribution programs are being carried out under the supervision of the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The religious attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Jakarta, Sheikh Ahmed Bin Isa Al-Hazmi, explained about the program, which includes distributing 3,000 food baskets and 10,000 Iftar meals to hospitals, orphanages, and other places.

The inauguration was attended by a number of high-ranking officials from Indonesia.
