KSrelief signs deal to operate ambulance service for Souboul Al-Salam Association in Lebanon

RIYADH — King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has signed a joint agreement to operate an ambulance service system for Souboul Al-Salam Association in Lebanon (second phase), which will benefit 30,000 Syrian and Palestinian refugees and Lebanese citizens in Miniyeh City, in addition to partial coverage of Tripoli and Akkar Governorates in Lebanon.

This agreement aims to raise the readiness of emergency services by transporting sick and injured people to and from hospitals, and rapid intervention to contribute to saving the lives of patients and reducing deaths.

This comes within the framework of relief and humanitarian efforts by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to stand with sisterly and friendly countries.

Al-Ghaydah Dialysis Center

provides medical services

In Al-Mahrah, the dialysis center in Al-Ghaydah Directorate, Al-Mahrah Governorate has continued to provide medical services to beneficiaries, backed by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).

During the period from April 17 to 22, 2021, the dialysis center received 40 patients, 35 of whom received 79 dialysis sessions, as the percentage of male beneficiaries was 70%, and female beneficiaries was 30%, while the percentage of residents reached 85%, displaced people 10% and refugees 5%.

Moreover, nephrology clinic received 5 patients and 276 laboratory tests were conducted. This comes as an extension of humanitarian projects being provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to improve the health sector.

KSrelief delivers 32 tons of

medical supplies in Marib

In Marib, KSrelief has delivered 32 tons of medical supplies and medicines to the office of the Ministry of Public Health and Population in Marib Governorate, Yemen. This aid falls within relief projects being implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to improve the health sector in Yemen.

Taiz Hospitals get

30 tons of medicines

In Aden, KSrelief Sunday provided the office of the Health Ministry in Aden with 30.942 tons of various medicines allocated to Taiz Governorate hospitals as part of the 2021 project to support Yemen's Ministry of Public Health and Population.

Advisor at the Local Administration Ministry and the General Coordinator of the Higher Committee for Relief Jamal Bilfaqih praised the continuous efforts of KSrelief in offering humanitarian assistance to the Yemeni people.

He stressed that this aid has a positive impact on mitigating the suffering of citizens who face difficult circumstances due to the current humanitarian crisis.

Coordinator of the Health Sector at KSrelief Office in Aden Dr. Abdullah Al-Hadar said that the medicine shipment seeks to enhance health services for Yemeni citizens in various Yemeni governorates, including the Taiz Governorate.

The assistance is part of humanitarian and relief projects being implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, to improve the services of the Yemeni health sector. — SPA
