JAZAN — A Saudi business lady Zulaikha A-Kaabi from Jazan Region wrote a very unique story of success, paving the way for other women compatriots to follow suit, through drawing up a positive picture for active woman empowerment in their communities.

She managed to achieve resounding success by planting as many as 100,000 banana trees, owning one of the largest banana farms, all over the Kingdom, as it produces over 20 tons per day.

Among the products is the Red Banana, a unique quality of a very limited spread tasting as if it is a mix of banana and raspberry and rich in potassium and vitamin C.

Al-Kabbi, is the first Saudi female to lead the way in planting the Red as well as the Blue Banana, taking advantage of her agrarian expertise she gained by travelling abroad and getting acquainted with horticulture's merits.

She eventually translated her knowledge and expertise into a combination of a positive reality with great economic gains and returns. — SPA
