MADINAH — All preparations to receive worshipers during the last 10 days of the holy month of Ramadan have been completed, the General Presidency for the Prophet's Mosque Affairs said on Thursday in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency
The last 10 days of Ramadan, which are considered to be the most blessed period of the holy month, witness a large turnout of worshipers.
During the peak period, the presidency said it is seeking to implement an integrated field plan, in cooperation with the security and health authorities, to enforce COVID-19 precautionary measures in order to ensure the safety of worshipers.
The presidency also said that it is putting in all efforts to make the Prophet's Mosque, its courtyards, and facilities surrounding look nice and tidy in order to facilitate pilgrims to perform their rituals with comfort and ease.
During the last 10 days of Ramadan, the Night of Power, (Lailat Al-Qadr) falls, and mosques all around the world are filled with the faithful during this period. — SG
