'Saudi Arabia is important strategic ally of Pakistan'

ISLAMABAD — Former Ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia Khan Hasham Bin Saddique said that the Kingdom is one of the most important strategic allies of Pakistan.

In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), he said that the relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are very strong and long-standing relations, based on the principles of brotherhood, trust and shared religious values. He also highlighted the visit of Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan, adding that this visit comes at the invitation of Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman.

"It is a very important visit that will contribute to developing the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and will produce positive outcomes to advance the ties," he added, praising the Saudi pioneering role at the level of the Islamic world as well as the outstanding efforts and services provided by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for pilgrims. — SG
