Saudi Gazette report

RIYADH —
The Arab Coalition intercepted and destroyed on Monday an explosive-laden launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militia toward Saudi Arabia’s Abha International Airport.

In a statement, the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen called the attempt of the Houthi militia to deliberately target the airport a war crime.

"We are taking operational measures to deal with sources of threats to protect civilians and civilian facilities, the coalition said in the statement.

The coalition later said that the attack did not cause any injuries but damaged some vehicles stationed near the airport.

The coalition forces intercepted and destroyed early Sunday an armed Houthi drone launched toward Khamis Mushayt.

Recently, the Houthi militia has intensified its attempts to target civilian and key installations in Saudi Arabia despite global condemnations of the attacks.
