King Salman reiterates Saudi Arabia’s support for Palestine in phone call with Abbas

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman made a phone call on Friday to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

In his call, King Salman affirmed Saudi Arabia’s condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli attacks and actions in the city of Jerusalem, the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, resulting in multiple deaths and injuries of innocent people, praying to Allah to grant the injured a speedy recovery.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques stressed that Saudi Arabia will continue to make efforts at all levels to stop the Israeli measures and attacks on Jerusalem by mobilizing the relevant parties to exert pressure on the Israeli occupation government. He wished the Palestinian people security and peace.

For his part, the Palestinian president expressed his deep appreciation for the Kingdom's stances since the era of King Abdulaziz until today.

Abbas thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Saudi government for its efforts in international, Islamic and Arab organizations to stop the Israeli aggression and support the Palestinian people.
