Zakat, Tax, Customs foil two attempts to smuggle over 306 kg of hashish

RIYADH — Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority has managed to foil two attempts to smuggle 306.5 kg of hashish at Wadiah crossing and Jazan port.

The quantities of hashish were found hidden in two trucks arriving in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through the two outlets. As much as 115 kg was seized in Jazan, while 191 kg was seized in Wadiah.

The authority lauded the unlimited support the authority and its outlets receive from the wise leadership, such as installing new sophisticated techniques and equipment, at all outlets, a matter that strongly helped in exposing, detecting and foiling various trafficking attempts, into the Kingdom. — SPA
