RIYADH — Shoura Council’s Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh welcomed the Speaker of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates Saqr Ghubash in Riyadh on Sunday. Ghubash is on an official visit.

Along with the Shoura chief, Deputy Speaker of the Shoura Council Dr. Mishaal Bin Fahm Al-Salami, Assistant Speaker of the Shoura Council Dr. Hanan Bint Abdulrahim Al-Ahmadi, Secretary General of the Shoura Council Mohammed Bin Dakhil Al-Mutairi and Prince Fahd Bin Saad, member of the Shoura Council were in attendance at the King Khalid International Airport.

Both the Speakers, of the Shoura Council and of the UAE Federal National Council, are scheduled to hold an official talks session tomorrow, Monday, during which they will witness the signing of an agreement to establish the Parliamentary Friendship Association between the Shoura Council of the Kingdom and the Federal National Council of the UAE.

During the visit, the Speaker of the UAE Council will meet with a number of senior officials of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to discuss a number of issues.
