Saudi Arabia expresses sorrow over Pakistan train collision

RIYADH —
Saudi Arabia expressed deep sorrow over the train collision in the Sindh region in southern Pakistan, which resulted in injuries and deaths.

In a statement on Monday, the Saudi foreign ministry expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, and to Pakistani leadership, government and people.

It also wished the injured a speedy recovery.

Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates also expressed their condolences and solidarity with Pakistan over the deadly train collision.

In a statement, Bahrain’s foreign ministry expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the dead, and to Pakistan, the leadership, government and people, with wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.

The Bahraini ministry stressed the solidarity of Bahrain with the government and people of Pakistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.

The UAE’s foreign ministry in a statement on Monday offered its heartfelt condolences and extended its sympathies to the government of Pakistan and to the families of the victims of this tragedy.

The ministry also expressed its wishes for the speedy recovery of the injured.
