RIYADH — Saudi Post in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, has issued a SR3 postage stamp decorated with Arabic calligraphy, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Thursday.
The stamp was unveiled as part of the "Year of Arabic Calligraphy" initiative launched by the Ministry of Culture in 2020. The initiative is in line with the Quality of Life Program, one of the Saudi Vision 2030 realization programs with a general aim of improving the individual's lifestyle in Saudi Arabia.
The postage stamp is in four different art forms to present the beauty and attractiveness of the Arabic calligraphy.
With the commemorative stamp, Saudi Post seeks to promote the presence of Arabic calligraphy and to contribute to the goals of the "Year of Arabic Calligraphy" initiative.
