RIYADH — Over 21,000 notarial operations were carried out through the Mwathiq.sa online private notarial service of the Saudi Ministry of Justice (MoJ) in past May.
The service allows clients to obtain several services without having to visit a notarial office.
“Clients can visit the Mwathiq.sa website to communicate with the nearest private notary using the provided contact information,” the MoJ said.
In addition, the Mwathiq app enables clients to apply for a service and receive offers from the available private notaries, saving themselves time and effort.
Private notaries offer several services related to powers of attorney, corporate charters, conveyances, liens, title deed corrections, and financial declarations; among others. — SG
