King, Crown Prince congratulate President Putin on Russia Day

RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman have sent cables of congratulations to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the anniversary of Russia Day.

In their congratulatory messages, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown expressed their sincere congratulations and good wishes for the president and they wished steady progress and prosperity for the Russian government and people, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Friday.

Russia Day is the national holiday of the Russian Federation. It has been celebrated annually on June 12 since 1992, according to Wikipedia.

The day commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (RSFSR) on June 12, 1990.
