GACA organizes a specialized workshop on security equipment at airports

RIYADH — The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) held Tuesday a specialized workshop on security equipment within the framework of adopting the unification of mechanisms at all airports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from the technical guide point for security equipment.

The workshop witnessed a visual presentation that dealt with several axes, most notably the adoption of a unified guide for the technical specifications of security equipment, the integration of airport security equipment with national and international standards, and the organization of maintenance work methods for security services.

This comes within the framework of GACA's efforts to promote, support and display the best security practices and experiences and modern devices with advanced services in the field of aviation security in accordance with best international practices and standards. — SPA
