New Saudi ambassador presents credentials to Qatari deputy PM

DOHA — Newly-appointed Saudi Ambassador to Qatar Mansour Bin Khalid Bin Farhan presented on Monday a copy of his credentials to Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The credentials will later be submitted to Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad, the SPA report added.

Earlier in the day, the Qatari foreign minister welcomed Prince Mansour, noting the deep historic ties that bind the two countries in all fields as well as out of the keenness of the wise leadership in the two countries to strengthen them at all levels, and to serve the common interests of both countries.
