Madinah governor briefed on GACA’s efforts to develop civil aviation sector in the region

MADINAH — Madinah Governor Prince Faisal Bin Salman met here on Monday with the President of the General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA), Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, and a delegation accompanying the GACA chief.

During the meeting, which was also attended by the Assistant Minister of Transport Abdulaziz Al-Arifi, the governor was briefed on the current and future projects being carried out by the civil aviation authority in the Madinah region, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

They noted the efforts of the authority and those in charge of it to develop the civil aviation sector.

Al-Duailej expressed his thanks and appreciation to the governor, pointing out that the authority is working with the support of the wise leadership to develop and improve air transport facilities in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

He praised Prince Faisal's directives to provide the best services to travelers through the region's airports.
