RIYADH/ADEN — Yemeni Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik affirmed that the Yemeni government and its people, together with the national army, popular resistance and tribes, stand firm with all their capabilities against the Iran-backed Houthi militia to end its plot and restore the legitimate state.

Dr. Abdulmalik stressed that the Houthi escalation of terrorist crimes against the displaced and civilians in Yemeni governorates of Marib and Hodeidah in particular as well as its continuing military attacks against civilians and civilian objects in Saudi Arabia will not pass without the culprits being held accountable as the Yemeni government will also not accept that the Yemeni people remain mortgaged to such violations by the terrorist Houthi militias.

Dr. Abdulmalik paid tribute to the continuing stand of the Coalition Forces to Support Legitimacy in Yemen by the side of the Yemeni people in defense of their identity and well-being, calling on the UN Security Council and the international community to take deterrent measures to coerce the Iran-backed Houthis to stop threatening the security and stability of Yemen and the region.

Meanwhile, Yemen's Minister of Information Muammar Al-Eryani affirmed that the Iranian-backed terrorist militia's recent escalation of military operations in Marib Governorate, its continuous targeting of residential neighborhoods in the liberated areas and deliberate terrorist attacks on civilians and civilian objects in the Kingdom are considered an explicit rejection of peaceful solutions and deliberate attempts to undermine efforts aimed to achieve tranquility.

In a statement in Aden to Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Al-Eryani said, “This hysterical and dangerous escalation confirms the militia's continuation of its coup plan and its complete implementation of Iranian agenda in the region including destructive policies aimed at spreading chaos and terrorism in the region, and disregarding efforts made by brotherly countries to end the war and bring peace to Yemen.”

Yemen's Minister of Information called on the international community to condemn Houthis’ escalation, put real pressure on them and provide support for the Yemeni government in its battle to restore the state, stabilize security and stability, and combat terrorist activities that threaten regional and international security and peace. — SPA
