RIYADH — The city community of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University (PNU) has obtained the World Health Organization’s accreditation certificate as the first Saudi and Arab university city to promote health at the university level, a certificate granted by WHO to healthy cities around the world.

Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University received the accreditation certificate Sunday during the conclusion of the "Health Professions" event held at the university.

The event was organized by the Innovation Center at the Ministry of Health, in cooperation with the Deanship of Female Student Affairs at PNU, in the presence of Minister of Health Dr. Tawfiq Bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah; the President of the University Dr. Enas Bint Suleiman Al-Issa; the representative of WHO in Saudi Arabia Dr. Ibrahim Al-Zeiq; and a number of officials from the Ministry of Health and PNU. — SPA
