Saudi Gazette report

RIYADH — The Arab Coalition forces led by Saudi Arabia on Friday intercepted a “hostile air target” launched by the Iran-backed Houthi militia targeting the Kingdom.

In a statement, the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen said that the forces were efficient and thwarted an imminent hostile act.

The attack comes after the coalition announced on Friday morning that its forces destroyed an explosive-laded drone fired by the Houthi militia toward Khamis Mushait.

On Thursday, the coalition intercepted and destructed an armed Houthi drone fired toward the Kingdom in the Yemeni airspace.
